Tour de Chocolat
I read an Seattle PI article back in February about Seattle’s prominent chocolates and the idea of a chocolate tour….a tour around Seattle’s finest chocolate stops. Doesn’t that sound delicious? Here’s what Tours of Seattle has to say…
“There’s a delicious way to enjoy Seattle’s “other bean” and see the city. Take the Tour de Chocolat/Seattle for a morning of chocolate education and tastings from some of Seattle’s most famous chocolatiers.
Designed for small groups (10 or less), immerse your self in chocolate, take home sumptous samples and watch chocolate-making in motion in motion with some of the nation’s most esteemed chocolatiers. Learn about the craft of chocolate-making and come away better able to select chocolates in the future.”
Stops include The Chocolate Box, Theo’s, Oh! Chocolate and Fran’s. You could take ten of your wedding party, family or friends and enjoy a tasting of another kind. This would be a great way to sample a possible favor or show your out of town guests a sweet time. Bridal shower, a day with your bridesmaids, or some bonding time with inlaws.
It’s $65.00 per person (tax included) for a three hour tour. (It’s all on land, so leave your sailor hat and red shirts at home.) And at the end, you receive a box of chocolates with goodies from each stop. (Because life is like a box of…um, nevermind.)
