Kristina & Dennis | 08.25.07
I know it’s no longer 2007, but I couldn’t resist posting about Kristina & Dennis. I met them only a week before their wedding day after their previous coordinator cancelled, and they were such a fun and relaxed couple to work with.
On August 25, 2007 Kristina and Dennis said their vows in front of 30 of their closest famly and friends in Sudden Valley. The quiet and seclusion of the pavillion gave the ceremony an intimiate feel while the scenic veiws of Lake Whatcom and the Sudden Valley golf course made it truly Pacific Northwest. After guests had left, the bridal party danced the night away until the couple made their getaway under a flurry of hygrangea petals.
Little Touches: Bathroom baskets filled with last-minute essentials, hand-delivered candles for special guests, hand-sewn table runners and guest book cover, and a clothesline-style ribbon full of childhood photos leading to the ceremony.
My favorite moment: When the bride stood up to give a speech and surprised her groom with a honeymoon in Las Vegas.

I love the flowers! That’s so cool you were able to pick up a wedding last minute. That’s just what great wedding coordinator’s can do! Great work.
